Live Heartburn Free with LINX

Tired of heartburn keeping you up at night? You’re not alone. More than 60 million Americans experience heartburn at least once a month. Gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) is a common physical condition in which acid from the stomach flows backward up into the esophagus, resulting in painful heartburn.

The most common symptom of reflux disease is heartburn. However, reflux disease can produce a wide variety of symptoms including: hoarseness, sore throat, cough, chest pain, shortness of breath, difficulty swallowing, asthma, heartburn, and regurgitation. The good news is that we now have a minimally invasive yet permanent solution to treat reflux called LINX.

What is LINX?

The LINX Reflux Management system is a small flexible band of interlinked titanium beads with magnetic cores designed to restore the body’s natural barrier to reflux in patients with GERD.

The LINX device is surgically implanted around the lower end of the esophagus. It is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in patients who continue to have GERD symptoms despite the use of medication for the treatment of reflux.

Benefits of LINX

85% of patients were able to remain free from GERD medication dependence.

99% of patients no longer experienced regurgitation

Overall improved quality of life.
